Stayed in a log cabin while duck hunting. Cabins are rustic but clean and equipped as advertised. Staff was very accommodating. It's not Holiday Inn, but is just right for a hunting and fishing camp.

This is a great marina to put in at. Lots of parking and an easy ramp to use. The store has everything you need, even gas. The restaurant is no longer open.

I visited here with my family in November 2011 - was looking for an interesting place to stay en route from Orlando to Mobile - and had a lovely time. It's a beautiful area, perched on the edge of Lake Seminole, and there are lots of pleasant places to stroll around. We weren't there for the fishing, but that is the main focus. The cabin we stayed in (one of the log ones) was smart and clean, the shower had plenty of hot water, and the surrounding trees were full of wildlife. We ate at the restaurant in the late afternoon - note it isn't always open, check in advance - and had a really nice meal. The BBQ sandwich had pork which had been cooked for 12 hours, and tasted great. And the service was terrific, the ladies made a real effort to make us feel welcome and kept on giving us free desserts!

I was there several years ago. It was horribly run down and management was very rude. It appears that they are cleaning the place up and host is nice. I loved camping there. The lake and lots of wooded area.

Deplorable! My parents bought a boat ramp usage ticket and put in our boat then went to come pick it up a couple days later. A young lady came down to the dock with a huge smug attitude and stood watching us put the boat on the trailer. When my mother started up for the truck she retorted that "you can't use this ramp you haven't paid" confused my mother stated she had indeed paid and had the ticket hanging from the mirror in the truck to which she retorted back "Yah, I remember you and you haven't you have to pay because its separate days" My mother then told her "Ok, just let me pull my truck up out of the way and no one explained that to me." The lady rolled her eyes and huffed off inside. Moments later the owner came out just as my mother was easing up in the truck and yanked open the truck door! She started arguing saying the girl came in and stated we were refusing to pay! (Our group was all over the parking lot with no way to just run out without paying). Staff was beyond rude, owner just tried to justify her rudeness, and more than that the place had hornet nests with buzzing hornets all in the wood. There are no signs saying anything about the boat ramp fee or the deal about the ramp passes. I was so enraged I refused to set food in their store to buy anything like I planned and just left. If you have a choice go somewhere else if you don't then good luck!
